The Curiosity Process™

Your Curiosity Just Brought You Here... Yippee & Welcome!!

This is a space for seekers.

You’re someone who knows that there’s always something new to discover, and you jump at the opportunity to find new ways to unlock your own freedom. People that know you are often amazed at your willingness and courage to look inward and dive more deeply into this human experience. You lead by example, and may not even realize how much your own exploration impacts the world around you and the opportunities that come to you.

I invite you to join me in a safe, non-judgmental space for the next 6 weeks to explore and dismantle limiting beliefs that are ready for an upgrade. Find the freedom waiting for you on the other side.

Consider yourself invited to your next deep dive - The Curiosity Process™.

The Curiosity Process™ is a dogma-free inquiry into limiting beliefs that stand between you and what you want to do/be/have. It's simple. But not easy. It takes curiosity to find the places where you've fallen asleep, and support from people that are as invested in freedom as you are. And that's what this course is all about.

What To Expect

Through this 6-week course, we’ll be exploring curiosity and how it can open up your world by creating a new way of seeing and experiencing yourself, the people around you, and the possibilities in front of you. You will be given a step-by-step process of how to dismantle limiting beliefs, and even find some appreciation for them.

Week One

How curiosity could change the world – at the very least, your world.

Week Two

The body is your guide - how familiar feelings point us in the direction of where we need to get curious.

Week Three

Curiosity – the great interrupter (and it didn’t kill the cat).

Week Four

The pregnant pause - building the skill of tolerance to sit with the thing you’ve been sitting on for all these years.

Week Five

Radical choice point . . . which path will you take?

Week Six

Now that you’ve cracked open that noggin of knowing – where do you want to play in curiosity to create more freedom in your life?

Overview of The Curiosity Process™ and how we’ll be diving in over the next 6 weeks:

Week One – Creating Awareness

  • Curiosity as a state of being – an attitude. What is curiosity and what does it make available? What’s there when it’s not?

  • The human mechanism of falling asleep – how do we interrupt the mechanism when we’re committed to waking up?

  • Creating new levels of awareness - letting judgment, taking things personally and being triggered point us in the direction of growth and freedom.

  • Where do you want to wake up?

Week Two – The Body Is The Guide

  • Walking heads – why we can’t be heads walking around and expect anything to change.

  • Our emotional navigation system – how feelings and emotions are key to waking up, but they’re not the end of the story.

  • Is there wisdom in disconnecting from our body? In staying connected?

  • Tools for being with and moving the energy in the body when it’s getting hot in the emotional kitchen.

Week Three – Curiosity Is The Interruption

  • Getting curious about the default programming– where’s the beef?  What’s it good for? Where did it come from?

  • Finding the diamond in the rough - can I love on it just a little?

  • How the default becomes the limitation – getting clear on what it's limiting now.

  • The Great Labeler – how peeling off the labels creates more freedom.

Week Four – The Pause

  • Mindfulness and curiosity are BFF’s – catching the unconscious mind in the act.

  • Skill-building – building the muscle of tolerance to sit in the uncertainty without falling into the well-rutted neural pathway (aka the default).

  • How not DO-ing creates more BE-ing & the possibility that lives in the pause.

  • Naming the sticky stuff = dropping the act of “I have my shit together”, and how that creates relief.

Week Five – Radical Choice Point

  • New path, old path - which will it be?

  • What do you really want to create in the sticky spot?  What gets in the way?

  • Can I have a do-over? Attachment theory and connection.

  • I’ve already been here and done this work! Dropping the bone (and trap) of one and done.

Week Six – Where the Rubber Hits The Road

  • Where do you want to play with this in your life? What would make the biggest difference?

  • Anything standing in the way?

  • Building support around the new – setting tangible intentions.

  • Q & A

Course Curriculum

I'm Lisa Welden and curiosity has saved my butt

more times than I can count.

Curiosity requires that you don't know. That you don't plug into that answer/opinion/experience that already exists in your mind. A mind that already knows, cannot hear anything new. In my nearly 20 years of working with clients, I have consistently found that without curiosity, lasting transformation doesn't happen. Period.

Curiosity has gotten me out of places where I thought I had to have all the answers in order to bring value. It has caused me to open to a bigger process unfolding even though I felt nothing but stuck. Curiosity has caused me to be a mindful, conscious parent with a child that has the courage to call me out when my walk isn't matching my talk. And to notice the subtle beauty that exists all around me, even when I'm in the vice of transition and change.

Without curiosity, there is no awareness, and without awareness there is only more of the same. I'm committed to a world where people question what they believe to find the freedom they've always had. I invite you to play in this space with me, and create from pure possibility!
